Given that everyone from Deadmau5 to Avicii has been spotted using V-Moda cans of late, it comes as no surprise that when the company came to design the latest in their Crossfade pro DJ range, they canvassed the opinion of countless DJs, artists and producers to to help them improve on previous efforts.
The resulting slew of new features include dual inputs, a ‘Cliqfold’ hinge, a super-strength SteelFlex headband and build quality that claims to be able to withstand up to 70 drops on concrete – a vital feature for the travelling DJ. Powered by a 50mm dual diaphragm driver, they also provide plenty of beautifully boisterous bass, just as you’d expect. And with features like memory foam earcups, customisable ear shields and a SpeakEasy mic cable, these headphones should be as good for gaming and listening to music on the move as they are for DJing.
