On September 25, Beatport announced that its flagship streaming subscription service, Beatport LINK, has integrated Virtual DJ 2020.
It follows the news in July that the streaming service was available in the public beta of Pioneer DJ’s rekordbox DJ software.

Beatport LINK allows DJs to stream Beatport’s extensive catalog (over six million tracks) directly into DJ performance software, and compliments the core digital download store.
“With over 100,000,000 downloads, VirtualDJ is the most widely used DJ software in the world,” explains Beatport’s CEO, Robb McDaniels. “We couldn’t be more excited to add this large and passionate community to the rapidly expanding Beatport LINK ecosystem.”
Back in May, Beatport introduced Beatport LINK – a convenient subscription service that allows DJs to stream the music platform’s extensive catalog (over six million tracks) directly into performance software.
This groundbreaking service is now available in the public beta of Pioneer DJ’s rekordbox software. Subscribers can preview and mix full-length tracks from an extensive catalog, before purchasing the standout tracks for their download collections.
Beatport LINK PRO is available for $40.00 a month and for the first time ever will allow laptop DJ’s top take 50 tracks from Beatport’s catalog offline in rekordbox. The second tier subscription service, Beatport LINK PRO+, allows DJs to upload 100 tracks into rekordbox and play them without an internet connection.
Both services are available with a 30-day free trial and are currently only compatible with Mac.
Both Beatport LINK PRO and Beatport LINK PRO+ users can access an offline locker storage of 50 or 100 tracks, streaming audio quality higher than 320kbps, access to Beatport LINK Playlists, and the capacity to search the entire catalog with DJ performance software, such as Virtual DJ 2020.
