Steve Aoki wants to make music with Elon Musk according to an interview with the Dim Mak boss and EDM titan.

Sitting down on the couch to talk shop and shoot the breeze for BuzzFeed’s AM to DM live morning show, Aoki suggested that one of the world’s foremost business innovators could be a great studio partner.

“I would love to collaborate with Elon Musk,” Aoki said. “At the end of the day it’s not necessarily about, you know, I just need, like, ideas, creative flow, energy and then the kind of vibe off that.”

Aoki, whose interests also include a L.A. pizza chain and fashion and footwear, goes on to cite his productions with Hollywood director J.J. Abrams and an unnamed scientist as examples of working with other non-musicians. Considering Musk just resigned as chairman of Tesla he may be looking for new projects, but no official statement has been made.
